It's hard to describe how incredible the Winter Classic experience was. Flying to Detroit to watch the Leafs play the Red Wings outdoors at the Big House in Ann Arbor along with 105,000 other hockey crazed maniacs. Six inches of snow and -15C temperatures only served to enhance the experience.

The Ice Castles on display at Loon Mountain were definitely a sight to behold. Painstakingly created from individual icicles made with dripping water. It felt like being inside Superman's Fortress of Solitude.

This was a trip up to Toronto for Franca's Dad's big 85th birthday at Vinnie Zucchinni's (where else?!). We also squeezed in a trip to see my uncle Frank and his menagerie of stuffed animals. And of course, no trip to Toronto is complete without Caleb and Jacob's shenanigans!

On a work trip to London I finally got to visit Lords (for a tour, not a match unfortunately). Also visited with Daniel for the final time before he headed off on his epic journey.

This was the year that we put up our raised garden beds and our own Square Foot Garden was born.

We coincided this getaway to a spa town outside of Montreal with the Montreal Grand Prix. Even though we were too cheap to buy tickets, we just wanted to be in the city and take in the vibe.

My classic fireworks shoot during the Fourth of July. This year we hosted Danny and Sabrina during the long weekend too.

This was the year that Lance and Joelle tied the knot and began their life together on a fun filled day.

At the beginning of July we hosted Danny and Sabrina. At the end of July we accepted their challenge and accompanied them to Playa del Carmen on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. They have a beautiful house there in an idyllic setting.

The DEW Sancutary. Standing for "Domestic, Exotic and Wild" animals. Bob does amazing work here taking in any and all animals that are in need of shelter. Of course this was all before they started filming the Yankee Jungle reality TV show.

The Crazy Cat Lady and Bob Ross storm Amy's annual halloween party only to find a second Bob Ross risen from the dead! Great costumes all around and amazingly my triple hair sprayed 'fro stayed intact all night.

The culmination of months waiting for our European Delivery date to arrive. We did not waste our time with the new car. From racing on the Autobahn to climbing the mountain passes in Switzerland. We tried to do it all and clocked almost 1,000 miles before returning the car for its boat journey across the ocean.
