This guy was a "living" statue. He held this pose the entire time we were there. Over 10 minutes.

I just didn't have a wide enough lens to do the Duomo di Milano justice.

The level of detail and sheer amount of statues stuck onto the side of this place was mind boggling.

This mosaic is the shield of rival city Torino and tradition dictates that you rub your heel into the bull's balls by spinning three times for good luck. You can't really tell in this photo, but the spot is about 3 inches deep and rubbed smooth. That's what a hundred years of disrespecting Torino will do.

This is a giant decorated egg just outside of the Galleria in the Piazza della Scala.

What 19th century architectural masterpiece is completely without a Mickey Dee's in the center of it?

I had to sneak this shot while we in the Duomo without the guards clocking me, so forgive the soft focus. This is San Bartolomeo who was flayed to death shown here wearing his skin as a robe.
